The Neighbor to the left cut down the Neighbor to the right’s White Birch Tree. The wood was given to whomever wanted any. I saved a few pieces (should have saved more) and tossed them in the corner of the garage. They have been laying there waiting for me I guess, because look @ the beautiful spalting inside. I Made this bookmatched serving tray from one of the logs. It measures 20.25×12.50 & 1.25 deep. I usually make them a little deeper but was limited by the size of the wood I had. The finish is 3 coats of MinWax wipe on poly with steel wool in between coats. I am going to give the Neighbor his wood back, I bet he will be surprised…...........................Jack

That is very, very special, at least in my opinion. I love all the many veins of color and I think
you really did it justice with your design and craftsmanship!
