The squares are made of curly maple and I think a type of cherry. (I was told it was Brazilian cherry, but it’s not like any I’ve seen before. It was a good deal on about twenty BdFt so I got it anyway.)

The trim is mesquite and the frame is ash.

Finish is 4 coats TO/MS/Satin Poly (Cabot).

The squares are 1.5” and overall the board is about 16×16.

Thanks for looking!

Nice board great wood grain in the frame whatever wood it is ( I agree I have Brazilian cherry in my shop and it does not look like that unless the finish did you use made it paler.
Good job
