Here is a picture of the GI cabinet saw I got off CL for 150$ about a month ago. The mobile base and the extension table I built over the past month. I really wanted to build a fancier ext table with drawers/cabinets and a built in router but other projects were a priority so I threw together this set up in about a weeks time.

The mobile base is laminated plywood with some hard board in a few spots. The extension table is 4×4 Doug Fir, ply/hardboard top, edged in maple. There are 2 shelves below the top.

Nice score and a great job on the extension table.

It was a good snag and I’ve been loving the granite top. I can sharpen on it, use it for assembly and not worry about glue. It stays rust free and is easy to clean. It is also a pleasure to use compared to my old Cman contractors saw.
