This is my latest project. As most of you know, I love working with Cherry. The box is made with the Cherry. I had some Figured Hickory, which I used on the lid, medallion and drawer fronts.
I used the 45 degree on the outside of the drawers as something different.
I had some Padak on the shelf, so I made the necklace holder in the lid with it. I used a 3/8” piece of Cherry as the base of the inside and behind the Padak.
I will repost these pictures, with the finished product as soon as I get it finished.
Hope you enjoy.

I really like this. Nice job. I’d like to make a cheap version for storage in the shop.

It’s a very nice chest.

This is really nice. I love the mitered drawer fronts.
