My very first project start to finish from rough sawn lumber. It’s made of poplar and is about 5” wide by 16” long has a very basic finish of shellac 3 coats. This was fun to build and allowed to to use many of the tools in the shop, and cool part it’s another tool for the shop, lol.

Nice push block …I’m sure someone will suggest that you get rid of the screws and replace them with dowels for safetys sake , though : )
