Top and bottom ring are White spalted Cherry with walnut dividers, Center ring consists of 9 Koa segments with curly maple dots, and 3 Mulberry segments with walnut dots. The bottom is 2 pieces of Koa with some punky worm holes, filled with turquoise . The outside of the bowl is finished with 9 coats of W O P, there is no finish on the inside.

Super nice work on the segmented bowl Don. It’s unique and I like that! The turquoise is a nice touch, I’ve never used turquoise before, Iv’e got to give that a try someday.

It’s more than just another, looks very demanding project to mee. Segment turning is not a piece of cake.
