This my first post so here goes… The bottom is a bandsaw box (I actually cut it out with a scrollsaw). the top is some scrap walnut cut on the diagonal then one is flipped over and the two glued together.

I’ve add another picture in response to a suggestion in one of the comments. This one shows 2 magnets that hold the lid on.

I like the diagonal mating technique. More pictures next time or I’d think it might be a Liliputian canoe. ;-)
