.The box is made with I believe a curly/burl maple veneer . The veneer top is a four piece veneer book match . The interior is lined with a mauve felt . The hinges are solid polished brass. The finish is sprayed poly about 10 coats and buffed to a glass like shine . Thanks for looking

Excellent piece of work and I love the look of the veneer a lot of work but a beautiful result !
What is the substrate and what kind of glue did you use ?

Amazing how such a simple appearing box can be so elegant. Very nice job!

I really like the felt detail. Such a cool color combination with the wood.
