This is a bed that was built in March 2005. I went to the same customer my last posted project went to (see Desk Captain's bed). Instead of the desk at the foot this one we added a bookcase. I also switched out the lower drawer unit for a pull out trundle.

David, I don’t use plans. You could take most bookcase plans and modify it a little on the footboard. I’ll try to find my note and send them to you. Unfortunately I built this before my current system of keeping my notes organized, so finding them may be a problem.

Here is my notes for the footboard that I found. I also have the trunder that you were intrested in. This again is instructions for myself and my employees, so they may not be totally understandable. I’ll try to break it down in a blog sometime. If you have questions just ask.
This first picture I couldnot get it to scan right. I’ll see if I can replace it.
