Cargo Ship Puzzle

This is one of my entries for the “child’s toy” woodworking category in this year’s fall fair.

It is a puzzle that goes together only one way. The little pegs are 5/16” and the holes are 23/64 which gives each piece the tiniest bit of wiggle to come in and out.

The ship is pine. The rest is a mystery. Just some wood scraps I found that worked.

I put some boiled linseed oil on it.

Those wooden toys are the best kid can ever play with.Realy nice and precise work. I like the colours too.
