I made these 4 necklace pendents today. The one in the lower left in the first picture is Marblewood and the other three I could not tell you what the material is. I got it out of the buy it by the pound bin at WoodWerks here in Columbus. The finish is EEE and Carnuba Wax.
Comments and critiques welcome.

Lisa,
These are done on a lathe. I read about them on another site and used this website http://www.woodworkersinstitute.com/page.asp?p=594 to get the general ideas. I adjusted them to fit my needs and what tools I had that I could still do them safely. As far as size, they are just a bit bigger than a fifty cent piece. I also made one for my daughter that was about the size of a quarter but she left before I could take a picture of it.

I really like these, I have been wanting to do the same thing with some scrap pieces lying around the shop too. Good work.
