Corner posts are walnut with oak sides half blind dovetailed (Incra Jig). The top i took a knotty piece of oak and lined it up after ripping into pieces and inserting walnut strips. i like the effect as well as the character the knot gives. the base is walnut and is one of those unexpected additions after the fact when my stationary belt sander decided to grab the box and throw it across the room crushing one corner beyond what putty could do.

Nice layout on the box. The corner post dt’s are a nice touch.
