This is a quick little project thrown together for a work related need. My company had a need to put three external WiFi Antennas around the property, up on poles, but wanted to disguise them for aesthetic reasons, so I suggested putting them inside what appeared to be bird boxes. The WiFi units have four antennas each, two out of the top and two out of the bottom, so the bird boxes are cut to accommodate the antennas. What appears to be the hole for the bird to enter is screened off with wire mesh so birds or other critters can’t actually get inside. The boxes are now in place and painted, and I’ll post a picture of one of them later.

[Update]
Here is the photo of one of the bird boxes in the garden area around the pool. The property is a hotel.

Great idea!
Some times tec is ugly so dress it up or hide it, which isn’t a problem now a days with most things being shrunk down.

Thanks for those comments. Hopefully today, if it’s not raining later, I’ll be able to add the photo of the bird box in situ.

Looks good! Creative idea.
