One man's trash....

I was at the dump the other morning and ran across this old broken coffee table. Apparently someone had broken the glass top and decided to toss it. Me on the other hand, could see it’s potential. I quickly loaded it up and took it home and got to work. I first stripped and sanded down the base, primed, painted and distressed to give it the look I was wanting to achieve. Next I gathered up some old oak barnwood that I had salvaged a while back and made a new top for it. So after a little TLC, this table looks totally different from the one I had picked up from the dump. So I guess the old saying is true, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.

That’s very creative and a nice salvage job. Good work.

Great find. And a nice job on the refurbish too.
