Had some scraps of 1/2” white oak, and some DONATED by JEFF curly maple sitting around. Since I had just finished up a till for the braces, might as well make a box to hold MOST of the bits.

Corners are through dovetails. Aluminum angle to make some racks to hold the bits. Mesh drawer liner to cut down on the rattles.

Brass plated hinges, and a latch. Two coats of BLO …so far. Might have to make a second one, to hold the rest of the bits??

Bottom panel was also some 1/2” thick oak. Panel sits in grooves in the bottom edge of the sides. panel’s edges were rebated using a #78 rebate plane.

You really showcased that curly maple, Bandit. And made a fine bit box, too. Thanks for sharing.
