My wife is a paralegal but she’s also a classically trained soprano who sings with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Choir. This theatre playbill was from one of her performances and I needed to frame it to hang on our living room wall. This was one of my earlier projects and if I had it to over again I’d make several changes as this is rather plain. Quarter sawn white oak, medium oak stain with spay on shellac finish. Ebony plugs. Despite the ebony plugs I wouldn’t call this Greene and Greene. I think there’s a lot of abominations done that are labled G&G that bear no resembalence to their work….and plugs alone don’t make it G&G.
