This is a box I made for our pastor to take communion to the shut-ins. Made from oak with maple dividers and a cross inlay. The bottom is slightly inset to give it the appearance of floating.

Very nice looking box and good purpose for it as well. What wood did you use for the cross?

Thanks everyone!
I knew someone was going to ask that wood I used for the cross. I’m not sure… It was a piece I had laying around and forgot what it was. I know it isn’t purple heart but it is close, just a little darker.
The cup and plate were provided to me by our pastor, I’m not sure where they come from, sorry.
So to sum up all my answers, I don’t know. :)
