We were unable to use a room at church for two reasons…. 1) The floor was asbestos tile and 2) It had a very odd wall that was open to a neighboring storage room. The first solution was to carpet the floor and use a sealed pad to shut off the asbestos dust and the second was to make the wall shown above. I used dry brushed and wiped milk paint to go with the freshly painted blue theme colors of the remodeled room. I think it turned out quite well and all of the materials are salvaged so the church benefits for the cost of some milk paint, some lacquer and a couple of brushes. This was a lot of work! Tearing down pallets and ripping the best pieces to two widths and then hand fitting in quite a few places, but it was also a lot of fun!
