This was commissioned for a birthday present. I wanted to use some wood I found on their property , the best was a large Manzanita Root also the foor in the box and tray are from there wood pile. Overall size is 13×9x5 and the box is mounted 3/4” above the try floor , the box is 7 1/2×5x 3 1/2 . I don’t know what the stones in the lid are they are just blue his faveroite color. I like the finished box but it took more time than it should have ,I was playing with the Manzanita accents to much.

It looks rustic I am just trying to figure out what is the pattern you are trying to make.Is it a cellpone box or ?

it’s just a place they can put there cell phones to charge, and the box to keep what ever they want in
