Recently completed a bedframe for my Wife. Now I have the bed and the night stands complete with just a couple dressers to fill in the bedroom set. This is the same style as a bedroom set I did for my Daughter last year. Design came from WoodSmith Magazine Vol. 35/ No. 207. Modified the design to accommodate a king size mattress. Made from Quatersawn White Oak.

Thanks for looking.

Nice bed Rick. You did a good job. But (only) for your wife? ;)
I love quatersawn oak, but unfortunately you only see it here exclusively in antique carpentry, Modern carpentry is almost never quatersaen Even solid wood you see less and less.

Great looking bed frame! And yeah, you don’t see QSWO very often in modern furniture, so it’s always a treat when it pops up!
