Built a trellis for the wife this weekend and finnaly got it put up today. That is her planting her new vines. Hopefully it will be covered before long.
Stripped 1×2 into 3/4×3/8 strips, then glued and nailed together. ( titebond II waterproof glue)
The Picket fence I had built last year and didn’t even think about it for a project. All PALLET WOOD!
My wife loves her garden but so do the dogs so we had to put up a little fence. The only ones I could find were REAL expensive and chinsy looking. So….Pallets again.
The Pickets are 9 inch tall and overall there is 40 feet of fence. ( thought I would never get done cutting miters!) haha Used the top boards on pallets. Each board produced 8 pickets. The rest of the pallets went to the neighbors fire place.
The best part is both projects are reclaimed/scrap wood. The 1×2’s came from a neighbor who had left overs after screening in his porch.
Please let me know what you think. Good or bad.
Thanks for looking
Scrappy

Its not the typical jaw-dropper of a project we usually see from you, but it looks great,, and functional as well. I’ve been sawing cedar for privacy fences and of course I get to keep all the cut-offs and edgings, which are accumulating rather quickly!! So hopefully someday a can make a great addition like this to my rather drab yard.
ps. I got your box in the mail today. I’m anxious to see how the wings I told you about turn out!
