A friend was shopping for entertainment centers when I casually commented that I could make him one. He showed me what they were looking at and I adopted the design elements to come up with this mult-piece unit.

That’s great work. I like the simplicity of the design and finish—it allows the natural beauty of the maple to be the star. I’m glad the angled shelf standards are a hip thing right now, pretty cool. I also like the beefy shelf standards and cabinet feet—they give the whole thing a strong and weighted feeling. And I think your door joinery looks very nice. The rail tenons coming all the way through the stiles is very strong—something that stub tenons on cope and stick doors lack. If this was your first commissioned work, then clear your schedule because there is surely more in your future. Bravo.

Very nice. Modern but not too much so.

Very nice work. I like the clear finish on natural maple. Very clean look to it.
