This was a quick and simple project made out of recycled woods. The top is a slice of I think black poplar from a tree that was being trimmed. It’s 17” across and maybe 2” thick. The skirt was made from a discarded piece of door casing. The oak legs were cut from old shipping pallet wood, as were the clips that secure the top. I dub this my Soup table because I built it this afternoon while I was cooking some chicken soup. This finish is tung oil.
-- You know.... I think that old wood needs to be furniture.

Love the top. Great desing.
Pallets, a good source of, oak, poplar, pine, ash, hickory, walnut…....and others.
Beautifull use of scrap wood.
