i built this table for my friend’s new apartment. he has a couch with an unusual curved front. the curved edge of the table follows the couch’s curve. it made for a good excuse to play with the bandsaw. plus, this was my first attempt at an inlay, so it was a good learning expirience too. it’s made of walnut and poplar. the pictures don’t show it well, but the finish on the top turned out really nice(7 coats of poly).

Pretty creative. I like the inlay. I have been experimenting with inlay and it really make a piece striking. Good work.
