Diamond shapes … all glued up and no where to go.
Centre star and border is Purple heart and the background is.. you guessed it… silver ash.
Only 14” in diameter … so petite. As you spin it . the chatoyance is more evident.
All diamonds are glued one side end grain to next piece long grain all around.
The border is mitred and biscuit joined to the main part.
Thanks to all those who keep looking!!
