This watch & pen box is constructed of solid padauk & birdseye maple. The particular padauk board used in this box features a striking flowing grain pattern and deep red brown color. In addition the maple board used for the top medallion, dividers and pulls features a dramatic birdseye figuring which provides the box with an almost holographic effect when viewed from varying angels.

The top of this box lifts to reveal storage for eight watches. Eight velvet watch pillows are also included with the box which provide a safe and attractive resting place for the watches. Underneath the top watch compartment a sliding drawer provides storage for up to 17 fountain pens. The fountain pen tray is also removable to allow for storage of other items. All compartments are lined in felt.

No stains or dyes were used in the making of this piece and all colors seen are the natural colors of the wood which will continue to deepen and enrich over the years.

The piece is signed and dated on the bottom.

Dimensions: 14”L x 8.5”W x 6”H

Gorgeous box. You just can’t beat Padauk for that beautiful red. easy to work with, but a mess and gets everywhere. Love the simple design, that lets the wood shine.
