Made from rock maple and jatoba, leftovers from a Spagnulo cutting board. The layout is from some magazine, a few modifications so that I could use my cut offs.

Second big project, woot!

Mistakes: didn’t know to have the end grain of the maple on the business end of the mallet

Oh yeah, I also made a big crack in the handle when I got a little too aggressive with driving the wedge (at the top) home. :D
