When my mother was living in an assisted living home a few years ago, she was a little short of storage so, I made this small cabinet for her. It was 30”x24”x10” made of poplar and birch ply for the door panels. I used pocket screws and a few biscuits to build it. I got the brightest yellow I could find and after 5 coats plus the primer, (if you have ever painted yellow you know what I’m talking about) it was presentable. I used a keyhole type router bit and hung it on screws inserted in wall anchors.
As you can see she used it to mostly hold pictures. The person with the hat is not my mother, that’s my son! She has since passed away and I donated the cabinet to the nursing home where she was transfered to when she got Alzheimer’s. She was 93 when she passed.

Very nice, I really like it. Great little What-Not cabinet.
