Well after delays and some procrastination I was able to finish up the 2nd piece of my office suite in the first half of this long weekend. It blends well with the desk and adds the much needed shelving space.
Built entirely out of dimensioned wood from the box stores and joined using my Kreg Jig. Learned a few more lessons along the way that I can apply to the bookcase project that is next in line. They will give me the brunt of my storage space for the new office. Hope to work on them soon, but the DW did finish painting her new sewing room and her birthday is coming up so I have some furniture to build for in there.
More later, thanks for looking.

The desk project grows! I love the Kreg, and that came out nice and solid looking. Good luck on the wife’s furniture build!

Nice job! I love it when someone can take a 2×4 and turn it into a thing of beauty!

Thanks All for the comments. I was able to get the bookcase stock all ripped to width today before cleaning up the shop. Going to start work as soon as I can on those and try to work on my wife’s stuff as her birthday gift in early July.
