Been on a tight budget lately, so trying to utilize all the wood laying around the shop. Cell phone stand made from scrap from bandsaw box cherry and walnut. The idea was from a fellow LJ (Steve Carmichael, http://www.TheCarmichaelWorkshop.com )who did this with his bandsaw box scrap. Ring stand idea stolen from loupitou06 ( http://lumberjocks.com/projects/16906 ) Ring stands made from scraps of purple heart, yellow heart, maple, walnut, cherry. Everything finished w/ 3 coats wipe on danish oil. Next time I would make the dowels slightly shorter.

This is a great use of scraps that we just “know I can use, so I’m going to save it” obsession so many us seem to be afflicted with. Thanks for sharing and giving credit to those who inspired you.
