Bookcase I made for my son to use for his books and xbox games. Made from some really old oak that a family member was going to burn. Came in ~4×4 post with some gnarly chainsaw grooves from being cut into pieces and about 4 ’ long. Ripped with bandsaw and found some spalting inside then planed to thickness. The sides started out nearly an inch thick plank but was cupped bad. After planing down it ended up about 1/2” thick with a split. I used T-88 epoxy resin to fill in the cracks. came out decent I think. Coated with Danish Medium Walnut.

Very nicely done. Yes, that will last many years.
