Allison, I viewed every piece of your art work and they are all incredibly beautiful. I agree with using nothing but the character of the wood to display ones passion. I however am new to intarsia and did not want to ruin any expensive pieces of wood. As luck would have it a friend of mine saw my work and he had experimented with intarsia at one time and had purchased some pcs. of very expensive wood that he gave to me. My new flap sander arrived today so we all know what I will be doing this memorial day weekend. It is indeed a pleasure to be a member of this very talented group. I hope to be able to create pieces as great as some I have seen here. Thank you all for the compliments and words of encouragement.
