Curly Maple Cutting Board

This was a cutting board for my mother in law. The wood is curly maple and Peruvian walnut. Nothing special, just a routered drip channel on the top and routered handles on the sides. I finished it with beeswax salad bowl finish.

You must like your MIL quite a bit tomuse such beautiful lumber on a cutting board!

Beautiful curly maple, I have some that is equally as nice. I like the cutting board, but had it been me, I believe that I would have used a dark strip in the center also. I think that it would have set it off more.
