My friend is a retired Professor and enjoys woodworking, he does not have a facility to make projects so we work together. He wanted to make some Cape Cod chairs, so we decided to make a pair for him, for me and for my daughter. It was a winter project, today we sealed the wood with a preservative and this was the result. All of the wood were cut offs from larger pieces of 5/4 cedar

What a great winter project. I agree with Lew about the fan back, but they all look great!

They look like they launch you out. Beautiful chairs just the same.
