Jewelry Box and Photo Frame

These were a gift for my wife from December, that I’m just now getting around to posting.

The jewelry box is walnut and maple, finished with spray lacquer. I’m not thrilled with the finish, but she likes it. The picture frame was given to me as mahogany, though what particular flavor I have no idea. It’s finished with amber shellac.

I really like how you were able to use the same board for the front & keep the grain flowing – nice attention to detail.
