My wife asked me if i could build a rocking horse. My ego yelled YES! as my knowledge said… Ive never built one lol. So it was quite a task to figure out with no pics or info. I went off the cuff and just started striking lines and arcs untill my “actual size” on a piece if plywood drawing seemed to work . so here it is. my neice loves it.

If it rocks and looks like a horse, then it must be a rocking horse. Looks like you did a fine job.

That’s cool. It looks like the one that Buddy the Elf made in Elf. Don’t knock it, he was one of Santa’s Elves! That’s a really nice gift!

Randy I like your horse and your attitude – damn the Torpedos – Full Speed Ahead! Who needs plans, we all know what a horse looks like – now Gidde Up.

Heck if we had plans we would’nt look at em anyway. I love that horse, look at the padding on the back of that thing, man I’d give that a ride. Your niece I bet loves it. jockmike

Randy. All projects started with someone who didn’t have a plan. They they drew it up and othered used it to modify. So you are the originator of this plan. Great Job. Satisfaction #1.

So, is that a Painted Pony?

I once made a rocking cow and rocking pig. Sold the cow to some farmer and gave the pig to the local children’s shelter. Nobody would buy the pig without the poke.
