I made this veneer hammer to use on the desk previously listed. The working edge is a piece of 1/4×3/4×3” brass. I rounded over the edge with a file and continued to round and smooth it with wet or dry sandpaper, the polished it with chromium oxide. It worked like a dream, and only took about 45 minutes to make.

Nice one. I love hammer veneering. It’s so simple.
