Tom, this is really a terrific piece! My wife is from lighthouse country. This appealed to her. Nice job!

Tom, I’m very impressed with these lamps. Did you also create the lighthouses, or get them separately to place on those very classy bases? My wife and I live in MA, but we’re Maniacs at heart. Great lamps. There’s a HUGE Lighthouse store in Wells which I’m sure would like to feature lamps like these.
Would you by chance a lamp featuring Neddic Head Lighthouse in York, ME? The missus is inquiring, and for how much?

Steve, Thanks for the compliment on my lamps! We buy the images to put on the lamps, and then I design and craft the base to suit it and find appropriate electrical components.
Basically, I can make a lamp for whatever lighthouse someone can provide me. If you can get a Neddic Head Lighthouse and have it shipped to me, I will make you a lamp. Then, you could have your wife pick out a suitable shade or we could choose one for you. Send me a PM if you’re serious about having one made. I’m sure we can work it.

Tom, thanks for your reply. I’m not exactly sure when and if my wife is ready to get a new lamp yet. When I do, you’ll be hearing from me.
Keep up the great work.

Hi Tom
Thanks for the comment on my work. The lighthouse you picked for your lamp is the same lighthouse my engineer brother supervised moving a few years back. That was quite a feat how they did that. When he was not on the site he could sit at his computor in Illinois and see pictures, read all the insterments on the lighthouse and track its progress. Have nice day.

Wow, that’s very interesting. I actually visited the Cape Hatteras lighthouse right after it was moved. There was a special exhibit where they described the process that was involved in moving it. That was quite a feat! Your brother did a good job. Engineers are a special breed. Wish I was that smart.
Thanks for sharing that ;^D
