Just simple cell holder from 8/4 walnut, couldn’t make myself throw away the cut-offs! These hold the phone securely yet still allow full access to the front and sides for control access. A simple project, finished with tung oil finish and topped with satin lacquer, some better than others.

About a dozen or so have gone to family and friends, they seem popular especially since they are free!

beautifull piece.
Humbly offered sujestion.. If you had made abase support on the top you have two different viewing angles. and with a bit of carefull measurements you could, or someone else making it could have a dual ipad/iphone stand.
GOOD WORK!

Love the fact you make use of the cut-offs. Here’s another version on a Wooden Phone stand

Thanks Joe, interesting idea! I don’t have the iPad, so this design works for me. Just wanted something quick and simple and that would securely hold the phone and get it up out of the pile of paper that’s usually on my desk.

Thanks Tom, your design is more sophisticated.. Hope you’ve made a few push sticks for your shop. Your video scared me!
