I wanted an airplane swing for my almost 2yr old son put put on his new swing set(that is still under construction). But I could not find anything. so I saved some dump bound lumber from work and just started building and this was the results. And he loves it. I hung it just high enough for the propeller to clear. That way he can climb on and off.

Les, this is a wonderful project that any little pilot would love to have in their backyard.

Nice job. And I am glad to see your son lets you take a turn every now and then as well!! :)

Great swing. Nothing more rewarding than putting a smile on the little ones.

I recently built a swing set and I think this would be a nice addition. If I ever get the Adirondack chairs finished my wife is requesting I think this will be next on the list. Thanks for sharing.
