Ive wanted to make a wood ring for a while, so when i finally got the time this was the result. The center of the ring is mahogany and the outside edges are walnut. I did all the sanding on this ring by hand and just a paste finishing wax to really bring out the great colors of both woods. My camara will not take picture as good as i want, hope you injoy.

I like this ring, the contrast is nice!
I recently made a ring for my wife, but I was not totally happy with the Linseed oil finish I applied… I finally gave it french polish with 1 poun cut shellac and now the colorslook much better.
