This hollow form vessel is turned from end grain maple. It measures 6.25 inches tall and is 4 inches wide. It is finished with aniline dyes and wipe-on poly. All comments and critiques are welcomed.

Wow Joe another awesome piece ! do you like the satin finish or the high gloss (I think a High gloss makes the color richer and adds depth)?

Joe, another one with spectacular contrast in the way the grain accepts the dyes. The color combinations remind me of Celestial Goede…they work very well together.

I really love the texture you manage to show with your technique. I love this series. The wood looks more like gemstone than wood.
