This is a 62 iinch red oak poker table. It has a plywood substrate and solid oak apron and rails. The rails are dadoed around the edge and the rails are dadoed on the apron then screwed from below. This creates a very strong interlocking joint. The legs are 2 sections that lap together in the center. They are made by laminating 4 pieces of wood. This makes it strong and light. Fininshed with water based spray lacquer. I’m all in!

Great job! I second Vinnie’s question, where did you get the cubs felt? I have some friends that would love something like that…

I made the table foe someone and another guy got the felt so I cannot tell you where he got it. BUt, it’s a pool table felt. We found that it did not pill up as much as normal felt. I usually mae the field from velveteen which is cheap, feels great and lasts a long time. It’s cheaper than true “speed felt” for poker tables. THe pool felts with the NFL and MLB logos are expensive, though.
THe cup holders are availble on ebay.

I got questions about how I made the legs so I added some more pictures. Ther are really simple and strong. You can see by the 5th picture that the long part is a laminated sandwich. The open section decreases weight and allowed me to put blocks on the bottom of the table to align it when you put it together.
