Finally got around to finishing these desks for my kids…

I made 3 of them: Mahogany, African Teak, and Beech. I still need some cushions for the seats.

Added metal decorative sheet to give it a different look.

It was my first hand cut dovetails, it was OK I guess.

Very nice Hamad. Your dovetails are smokin’. That was a great idea adding the metal screen. It really adds to the project(s).

I think these pieces are beautiful with the metal screens. But I just cannot figure out WHY they looks so good to me. Maybe the screen helps give it more ‘visual dimension’ or it gives some ‘texture’ to the pieces. Whatever is responsible, two thumbs up from me. I think image two and image three are the ‘money shots’.
