I made the shelves and bookends for one of my grandson’s room. I found the Batman logo at http://www.vectortemplates.com/imgtemplate.php?iid=44.

He’s going to love it. Nice paint job.

What did you make the book ends out of? I’ve been holding off making some wondering if wood will be heavy enough, without the tongue that the stamped ones have under the books.

I made them out of poplar. I put four self-adhesive silicone door bumpers on the bottom of each one. The bumpers sort of grip the shelf preventing the bookends from sliding. It works for light weight picture books and beginning readers, but it might not work too well with bigger and heavier books.
