Not a piece of classic fine furniture but I am very proud of it. It was made from hardwood tongue and groove floor board (over a hundred year old, I am told) for the top and some equally old fence posts salvaged when I built a new fence at my mum’s house. Watch this space, I am only just starting out and hope to improve upon this effort with time.

Great job on recycling. That tongue and groove really gives it a unique look that I do’t think I’ve ever seen before. Are those light colored circles on the sides dowels?

Nice features, great use of reclaimed wood, and good, practical design. Excellent build—that thing will be enjoyed for generations to come! Well done. :o)

Yes the light colored circles are dowels. All the techniques were improvised from basic handyman skills. Now I am getting lessons, I try not to look at it too closely. Regardless, my sister has the table and she loves it.
