Heart shaped band saw ring box I made for my daughter.Wood is Cedar.

Very cute BS box. You did a great job on making it. I have learned to add a couple thin strips of wood to the bottom of the drawer cut out to help even up the opening or flock the inside of the opening.

nice tip..I’ll try it. To even out the drawer slide?....sounds like it makes sense.

By gluing in a couple thin strips of wood a bit smaller than the depth of the drawer opening when the drawer is installed it helps the drawer to be centered within the opening. Sometimes if the drawer doesn’t need much to make it look good I will add the spray on felt to the opening and it’s just enough to make it look good.
