Hello LJers.

Had a slab of Amur Cherry. The piece had open grain on one side and bark on the other side. What to do!!??
So I cut the boot blank length-wise and proceeded to fashion a one-of-a-kind work boot(stylized that is).
I did a slight reveal on the bark edge and finished the smooth side with wipe-on poly. The amber colour just popped out and the Day Lilies are a great compliment.
