Made this for my wife. First attempt at half-lap joinery. Of course my first time would be with a compound angle. Oh well. Just used scrap #2 pine, which finished okay, but didn’t like my dado stack cutting those lap joints. Just glad to get the experience.

Looks real good to me. Do you mean you weren’t comfortable using the dado stack?

I was comfortable, but the pine didn’t like the blades. The wood would tear off the back. Thanks for the comments.
