“Detroit” was inspired by my memories of living there circa 1950-1998. The process is CAD design Vetric Aspire 8, CNC carved Laguna IQ and metal coating finish http://www.sculptnouveau.com/. The center “Bronze” represents the aging 20th century industrial age, the background “Copper” with red patina- represents the post 1967 Detroit race riots and the frame “Bronze” with brown patina represents Detroit’s first black mayor Coleman Young. Please feel free to comment on what this could mean to you.
